The North Georgia mountains has one of the most desirable environments on Earth for a home or a second home. The air is clear and the water is clean. The quiet is only broken by the sounds of birds and flowing water. Spectacular views are found throughout Gilmer, Fannin, and Union Counties and so is a variety of wildlife. Farm stands sell produce, and the local orchards grow many varieties of apples and peaches. The people are friendly. The weather is moderate as are the prices for homes and land.
With four distinct seasons and a variety of ways to enjoy the area, such as hiking the Appalachian Trail or canoeing one of many scenic rivers, North Georgia mountains real estate is a good value and a sound investment.
